Thursday
Depart the United States via El Al, Israel Airlines, to Tel Aviv.

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, where you are met and assisted by your guide. Drive to the Ayalon Valley to the theme park of "Israel in Miniature". Stop at Latrun to see the memorial to Israel's Tank Division. Continue to Jerusalem, stopping at Mount Scopus for a spectacular panoramic view of the city and a traditional "L'Chaim." Drive around the walls of the 3,000-year old "Old City" of Jerusalem and visit the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site, to welcome the Shabbat. Arrive at the King David Hotel.

Saturday
SHABBAT SHALOM! TOUR OF JERUSALEM
Participate in an innovative hands-on tour adventure in the historic neighborhood of Yemin Moshe. Walk to the Old City to visit the Tower of David Museum, which traces the history of Jerusalem and the colorful "shuk." In the evening, on your own, visit the Ben Yehuda or Yoel Solomon pedestrian malls where Jerusalemites shop and dine.

TOUR OF JERUSALEM
Take part in a special service at Yad Vashem, the memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and walk through the " The Valley of the Destroyed Communities." Drive to Mea Shearim, and visit the Ultra-Orthodox neighborhood that is evocative of the destroyed shtetls of Eastern Europe. Stop at the British Prison in the Russian Compound. Return to the Old City through Dung Gate to the Davidson Center, which offers an audio-visual introduction to the history of Jerusalem. Cocktail party at the hotel. Bar/Bat Mitzvah rehearsal with Rabbi.

Monday
TOUR OF THE DEAD SEA, BAR/BAT MITZVAH ON MASADA
Drive through the wilderness of the Judean Desert to the lowest spot on earth, the Dead Sea. Continue along the sea past the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Arrive at Masada, the mountain fortress where the Jewish Zealots fought against mighty Rome, and ascend by cable car to celebrate your Bar/Bat Mitzvah atop the mountain. After the service, tour Herod's palace, synagogue and bathhouses. Stop at the Dead Sea for an unforgettable "float." Hike through the Nature Reserve of Ein Gedi to see the waterfalls, wildlife and lush foliage in this oasis. Arrive at your hotel on the Dead Sea.

TOUR OF THE DEAD SEA AREA
Drive to Nachal Pratzim to explore the unique Flour Cave. Afternoon at leisure. Float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea, with its salt formations, and enjoy the therapeutic facilities of the hotel (must be reserved in advance). A uniquely soothing and revitalizing experience.
Dinner and overnight at the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea.

Wednesday
TOUR OF THE NEGEV
Drive through the Negev to Kibbutz Sde Boker and visit Ben Gurion's hut and gravesite. Continue to the ruins of Avdat, a sixth century Nabatean City in the Negev. Visit the Geological Park of Mitzpe Ramon to see the dramatic Ramon Crater, the largest crater in the world. Stop for a Bedouin meal and camel ride. Drive to Timna Valley Park, with its spectacular cliffs, canyons, and rock formations, and ascend the red-hued Solomon's Pillars. Arrive in Eilat.
Dinner and overnight at the Princess Hotel.

Floating in the Dead SeaThursday
EILAT
Day of leisure. On your own, visit the unique underwater observatory and aquarium of the Nature Reserve, with its exotic fish and tropical corals. Swim, snorkel, scuba dive and relax in the bright blue waters of the Red Sea.
Overnight at the Princess Hotel.

Friday
EILAT
Optional: Tour Petra in Jordan or St. Catherine Monastery in the Sinai.
Friday night dinner and overnight at the Princess Hotel.

Saturday
SHABBAT SHALOM! EILAT
Day of leisure. Enjoy water sports or just relax on the beach or at the poolside. In the evening take a sunset camel ride (optional).

Sunday
EILAT TO TEL AVIV
Flight to Tel Aviv, Israel's center of culture and commerce, with its outdoor cafes and beautiful Mediterranean beaches. Visit the biblical seaport of Old Jaffa and meander through the artists' galleries. Last minute shopping. Farewell cocktail party and dinner.
Evening transfer to Ben Gurion airport.

Monday

Flight back home.
